Instead, we’ll ensure that we tear down the ones you tried to build and we’ll prosecute your friends and family for the countless crimes they’ve committed.

Only vote for candidates that say they will.

If that doesn’t work, break the system that doesn’t serve us.

Stop being so meek. Reach out to others. Radical change requires radical action.

The people depicted on those statues didn’t want monuments built to them in the first place. That’s the difference between Trump and those guys.

They might have been racist upper class douchebags, but they didn’t want to be remembered for their part in the most destructive and pointless war on American soil. They had a sense of shame, something Trump doesn’t have.

I don’t know about this `racists who fought a war over owning slaves “had a sense of shame” and “didn’t want to be remembered for their part in the most destructive and pointless war” take.

When they eventually did build statues, they imported them from the north. They didn’t build them in their lifetime because it wasn’t a popular thing to do, and as such they literally didn’t have the skills or foundries to make them. Not to mention they were actually fighting a war, not sitting in their bunkers ordering air strikes.

When he’s out of office, Congress should pass a law that it’s illegal to name anything after Trump, EXCEPT: Sewage Treatment Plants.

Then people who live near the plants can say things like “WOW, Trump is especially stinky today. Trump stinks much worse than usual.”
