Drag queens are cool. Conservative women are gross. And that is what passes for journalism in 2025.

Well, you could either change your ways or get used to being tired, because when you’re hateful scum, people treat you like you are.

Oh come on. Is there a word for this like Uncle Tom? Aunt what?

Stand up for your sisters or be stomped.

And for the record - I am a mom & got to stay home with some of my kids for a couple of years, love some D/s in the bedroom. I don’t disagree with the lifestyle. I very strongly disagree with forcing everyone to get on board. Fuck right off with that. You do you and give everyone else the same consideration. Leave my kids alone.

In mainstream media, women like me are portrayed through a singular lens: Our conservative beliefs. As such, we are easy to hate, mock and scorn.

Um, that’s how people should be judged, dumbass.

JFC, this entire thing reads like something out of The Onion: “boo hoo, I contain multitudes, but I adhere to hateful bullshit, why don’t people tolerate meeeeee? What happened to acceptance and inclusivity?”

She’s so close to understanding that if her actions result in her unhappiness, maybe she should change her own behavior. But it’s a conservative way of thinking to stop short and blame everyone but yourself, and then project and say that’s the problem with the rest of the world, no personal accountability.

Yes… it’s almost like people are hating, mocking and scorning your conservative beliefs and not the gender you were born into.

If this is in stark contrast to what you grew up with, the problem might be your environment, not the people calling out the things you can change about yourself.

This asshole is hiding behind her womanhood, using it as cover for her awful fascist worldview. Sorry, you being a conservative woman isnt the problem. You being a fascist is, and it justifies all of the scorn, ridicule, and social isolation.

This article is just another retread of the tired right wing cannard that claims intellectualism and critical thinkers must necessarily accept bigoted and authoritarian ideologies. The fear of this criticism is what fuels the weak, captulating nature of current Democratic leadership.

No, being open minded doesn’t require one to treat all ideas equally.

Doesn’t it go both ways? I’m neither, but “2 sides” is a junk narrative causing division.

If anything, it’s top vs bottom, aka wealthy elite vs us poors

Who knew that supporting fascism and circling wagons around a pedophile would have negative consequences in a society that generally frowns upon fascism and pedophilia.

"As a conservative woman living in Texas, I often feel like I’m living a dual reality. I’m a mom and a writer, but that’s not all. I go to church, laugh with friends and wave at my neighbors while we are walking our dogs.

Not the Mexicans though, because they shouldn’t be allowed to be here. Or the gays down the street trying to adopt a child, because that’s an abomination. Also, poor children shouldn’t be allowed to eat food, climate change is a hoax, and if you disagree with anything I say I’m going to call you woke and unamerican. Why aren’t people nice to me?"

I know, it’s like, just because I’m a gaping asshole that shits on everyone with less power than I do, as I lie cheat and steal under the worst people in the world, that people are being mean to me.

Just shows the hypocrisy of the left, that they don’t pretend to like everyone based on their gender! /s Almost too stupid of an argument to make but that is where they are.
