I’m a bit late to the party, but: The Bear.
Looking forward to the final season being released in late June.
Hadn’t heard of it but it scores highly. I wouldn’t generally watch cooking shows so do you think that’s an indicator not to watch this? Or is it more character driven?
I attempted to watch it, but there was a lot of angry yelling, which I can’t stand.
It is a lot about drama and character development, so, just give it a try. Personally, I hate cooking shows, but I love it a lot. Also top notch cast! :)
As with many others, The Boys series finale. I’m just glad it’s over.
I’m watching season 7 of Black Mirror, it’s a good season. I’ve watched 5 episodes and 2 are stand out episodes which is pretty good.
Also rewatching Archer cos it’s amazing.
Rematching Supernatural for 105th time this time with my youngest son who never seen the show. Almost done with season 2.
I just started Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. As usual, Tatiana Maslany does not disappoint.
I’ve heard comparisons to Weeds which is a show I loved but I am waiting for a few more episodes to be released so I can fully binge a few at once.
It must have been long since I saw weeds than I thought, I do not see the comparison there. It is good though.
Got back into voyager, happened to watch the episode where they mention it’s may 20th on may 19th which was a kinda silly non coincidence. Older trek is starting to show more age but it holds up really well overall I think.
AEW has been doing some good shows, last Wednesdays Dynamite had some great moments
Recommendations: Bob’s burgers, metalocolypse, star treks
Saving Hope - almost finished with season 1 Cassandre - about to start season 4 Deadly Tropics - just started season 3 Harry Wild - watched season 2, 3, and 4. I love this show so much that I got the subscription for a couple months
I just finished watching Mr Inbetween and was totally blown away. I got a sort of Breaking bad vibe from it. Season 1 and 3 were Incredible. Season 2 had character building and story driven episodes but S1 and S3 were 10/10
I take forever with everything so still watching snowpiercer. you know at one point it almost implied it was using the snow and like stripping hydrogen which would explain why it had to keep moving and go around the world (needed the snow to build up). I was almost accepting the premise and then it goes into this overheating thing with a small car load and its like ugh.
No recommendations. I’m watching Blue Bloods and 9-1-1 family series.
Blue Bloods is about an American Irish Catholic police force family. I’ve watched up to the end of season 6 and it is biased towards that side of the gun, so to speak. It’s not a show to be viewed by those who describe themselves as leftists and it will annoy them. I like the characters though, so unless it goes full tilt by the end of it I’ll probably watch all 14 seasons.
9-1-1 are much more friendly, however also over the top. I can’t take them seriously and they’re funny to watch.
Camping (UK, 2016) - hope to finish it this weekend.
Great if you love horrible and/or awkward people being cringe inducingly terrible/awkward.
If you know Julia Davis, then you know what you’re in for and whether you’ll be down with it.I wrapped up one piece live action S2.
It for sure had it’s moments and they nailed the weird campy vibe blended with fashion piece. But as a 20yr+ reader there are some scenes that baffles me when they decided to take a great moment and change the dynamic and actual content 180 degrees.
With that said there was a lot of beautiful moments and I was bawling at the end of it.
I am watching “Forever” — a show previously mentioned in one of these threads! Fun show so far. I have no idea how I missed it when it originally came out. Thank you to the original poster who recommended it.
