Gotto keep the devil away…

I think people are put off at first with the change of scenery but once you realize that’s the format of the show there shouldn’t be any issues.

Let’s see if I can remember, if I am factually wrong skit anything please correct me as it was some time ago. Also on phone so might autocorrect something I don’t notice.
S1.
Expectations: very low.
Seeing the kids grow up, slowly showing you all the points where Vi gets angry and powder gets messed up. Silco seems like a standard violation but gets emotional and instead of just using Jinx for his own gains he’s ready to die for her like she’s his own child.
They managed to make the vi Cait romance realistic under weird circumstances which was fresh to see. I enjoyed seeing Viktor and Jayce rise and fall in separate directions.
Was not a big fan of the chemtech depiction how you just pumped it into people and they were super soldiers that only Jayce and Vi stood a chance against. Also the vander ww hints didn’t excite me really.
S2.
Expectations: sky high
Starts off great, the tension between the uptown people and downtown which messes with Caitlin and Vi. Didn’t enjoy ambessa much except for her interactions with the black rose which was pretty cool.
The ww/ambessa/singed union didn’t make sense at all to me. She’s looking for something to up her army but following a random monster makes little sense to me. Now add Viktor to that mess and all of a sudden Warwick is not just a chemtech junkie gone monster but a necessary ingredient for Viktor to transcend.
Heimer and ekko in time was great tv, normally I’m skeptical about these kinds of side quests but this was amazing.
Jayce in time had its moments all in all pretty cool.
The endgame is where it all collapsed imo. The city invasion with like 20 soldiers running around in the harbour, ambessa vs Caitlin duel felt unnecessary imo, jinx/vi/vander fight felt forced even though Jinx probably needed to die but the manner was silly.
I get that it’s hard to close out when the scope is so big but I was disappointed.
So I guess it mainly boils down to high expectations and poor execution on certain parts. But as you can read from my review I am a fan and will definitely check out s3.
Cheers!

I think arcane s2 had some great stuff but a lot of it made very little sense or was outright bad imo. This is from someone who’s deeply immersed in runeterra (which might be a bad thing in this case)

While it had ups and downs the ups are brilliant, skona with the general mood and how they blend fiction and history.

Your name is a beautiful, mature yet safe, anime. I want to rewatch it right now.

And the entire premise of the movie is completely horrible right? Abusive family or some shit if I recall directly and the scary monster parts are where the girl zones or to differ her step dad?
Long time since watching but i ain’t showing that to my teen who has watched the matrix.

It’s nice and all that Ulf condemns it, but he normalizes far right ideas and terror every day he stays in office with SD. He even had the gall to “boys will be boys” when one of his ministers child was found active in a militant nazi organisation.

😬
I was tired and didn’t read the instructions properly. There is something out there.

X-files had a hilarious parody episode where Mulder was speaking gibberish the entire episode if I recall.
The sandman s1 was very uneven but the one in the diner was top notch tv.
I’m thinking the steam frame will open up pc gaming on arm completely and enable devices like this to go full power.

Yeah, there would need to be a major player investing in this route, coupled with strong integrity checks, to force banks and identity apps to make a third version of their apps.

Before they always tried to wrap episodes up with “I guess both sides are wrong in a way” which I found tiring and very hard to apply to trump.

Yeah I know. Which makes me think that some things that are important to me might not be that important to him I guess.
I’ve read the comics since I was young and now I’m 43 and apparently find it important that this manga adaptation is the way I want it 🤷♂️

Totally agree, but for example in the manga Luffy is completely uninterested in why Nami betrays them because he knows she’s good and he made his mind up already so it doesn’t matter to him. That’s how he is.
In the live action he starts investigating it instead, which makes him more generic in actually more screen time, and one piece is a LOT about Luffy. If the screen writers don’t get him I don’t have high hopes.
On the other hand, supposedly Oda signed off on everything so maybe the details that are important to me aren’t that great of a deal…

Yet this one changed the story and characters unnecessarily. I mean I guess we don’t want frame by frame but when they change the main characters choices and behaviour and westernise it by smoothing it a lot of weird stuff (and then add other weird of lower quality) it makes a fan like me sad.
Been oogling necesse. Would’ve loved couch co-op with the kids. On a scale of 1 to terraria, how much do you enjoy it?

While I loved season 1 I didn’t enjoy the ending with power armour Kyle flying away. I’d rather they wrapped it up and came up with a fresh story for s2.
Will probably give it a few but I think it might be sub-standard.

But then we have the indie devs that constantly praise each other, include in-game references to their inspirations or blog about what blast they’re having while playing a competitors game.
I was building a massive pipe systems for fish food and poo In a huge fish tank after my last session of factorio.
