Unfortunately, stocks tend to move in sympathy with each other due to various factors, such as large ETFs and algorithmic trading. Natural price action is kind of broken at the moment.

Crypto should have been about taking power away from banks and capitalists. And maybe there are projects along those lines. But for the most part it’s been co-opted by exactly that sort of asshole.

Now crypto exists mainly as a microcosm of human folly.

I wish there was more HarmonQuest, or any new shows by Crittenden. I’ve been trying to get into Dimension20 and I super admire Mulligan’s energy, but they all give a shit about the game. It feels off, somehow too earnest.

It feels a bit like if I was used to watching the Globetrotters just clowning around backstage with drinks with a long suffering coach, and now I’m watching a high spirited junior league with a really involved coach who gives 130% the whole time.

I do wish McHale got to put more things out. I’m excited to hear he’s working on something coming out next year called the Elephant.

They want “personal responsibility”, but definitely it isn’t murder to kill someone with a car. It can’t be murder if I was so happy and comfy and distracted the whole time I was violently ending a human life!

I thought I might be playing it loose applying it to the case of private equity in the creative arts, but it feels right

Time to find out where they’re made and strike. I just really would rather the answer is not “in China”.

Edit: factory said to be in Votkinsk, not far from the border of Ukraine. Looking forward to news from that direction.
