I think a lot, sometimes too much! 🌠

Probably the one where I was on a space station that was being constructed around a purple star somewhere in Orion, 400 years from now. Half of it was exposed to space behind an invisible forcefield and honestly it was the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen and I felt no fear from being that close to space. Pieces of the hull transported into place like Star Trek transporter style as it was being constructed. There were also time and space portals on there too that looked like Mini Star gates that people were coming in and out of like an airport today.

America may be behind but sadly quite a few countries seem to keen on racing it right to the bottom. Nobody seems to learn from all the mistakes it is making.

The big problem is that we’re not just up against plain stupidity, we’re also up against organised and weaponised stupidity that is being enabled and fanned by those in power and the media, and also their billionaire backer donors, who want to drag us all the way back to the medieval ages.
That’s much more sadistic and worse than plain stupidity which we are all guilty of from time to time until we learn better. With organised and weaponised stupidity, they don’t want us to learn better, because our ignorance benefits their wallets.
I’ll often order stuff from Ebay/Amazon even though the shop is right next door. It’s partial anxiety but also mostly pure laziness.
Weren’t elders/shamans/gurus looked up to as sort of spiritual and worldly advisor/authority figures back then? Granted, it’s not the same as being a chief/leader, but they talked, and their community listened and generally followed their advice.
Explorers 1985! I love this movie to bits and never knew it was considered a flop until recently.
We’re advising her to be cautious, not advising her to call the whole thing off. What’s so wrong with that?
It’s quite possible that he is indeed a generous person, but still be careful. Truly generous people like that are very far and few in between, at least in my own experience, so most are usually that nice early on when they want something from you. Not trying to put him down, because we don’t know him… But be careful.
How long have you known him? If you two have only just met or met very recently then it’s very weird behaviour for sure. Heck it’s a little weird him being this forward so soon, if you did know each other only as friends before this.

I get what you are saying, but games are not streamed from the discs anymore and haven’t since the PS3/Xbox 360 days. They are installed to the SSD which then loads up the game as normal.

It wouldn’t actually be so bad if everything else wasn’t fast becoming unaffordable as well. If bills, rent, shopping and other expenses were not already sky high, then we might be able to afford the higher game prices.
You have to go through this even when you’re applying for something like shelf stacking at your local store. It’s truly ridiculous.
Try it and see how it works for you. There’s really no telling what it will be like because each system is different and will respond to the different distros of Linux and their kernel versions in different ways. For a time Fedora worked better on my laptop but Kubuntu caught up and hardware support was improved in their newest kernel so now I’m back on that xD
But yeah, for my 2025 laptop Fedora was extremely stable and I never ran into a problem. I just missed the big repos of the Debian/Ubuntu family.
