Even if those quotes were real, so what? Some people have a death wish. That doesn’t mean that it’s good to let them die, and it definitely doesn’t give you permission to kill a bunch of their peers. They’re not an official spokesperson for the Iranian people.

It’s also absurd that people act as if government repression meant it’s okay to nuke you. Does that apply to German police beating down pro Palestinian protestors? Or if it’s about them being less good on LGBT+ rights, when is it time to nuke the UK? Hell, both governments are clearly very corrupt and unpopular, which is another accusation thrown at anti imperialist countries.
