Well, I think we have different reference frames, perhaps. When I say small SUV, is probably half the size of an American normal SUV. Cars in America are humongous. Cars in Europe are quite a bit smaller on average. I agree the cars in America are over the top, and dangerous. 👍

But up to a certain size, the SUV is sometimes the best choice for a family’s situation, and demand for a product is going to be hard to stop.

A VW Transporter is smaller than 90% of anerican cars and fits 9 people.

An SUV is never a good family car. It’s not even especially spacious in most SUVs.

An SUV is a great family car for us. 100% disagree. But every family is different, never say never.

A VW Transporter 2024 is larger than our EX40 in every dimension except width as far as I could tell. 🤷‍♂️

          To each his own.

There is a market for SUcs but most of the time it’s just an unnecessary huge car the owner doesn’t even meed.

I drive a VW Caddy and my parents have a VW Tiguan. I have a lot more space than them even tho they both take up the same space

Very much to each their own yes. VW also has a bad reremovedtion for skimping out on rust prevention, which is a very costly alternative for us living in the northernmost parts of the planet. Salt and snow weak havoc on the chassis. But that’s beside the point, I think. Just an aside. 😁
