    Yeah fuck channel 4 (UK) for doing this. I can no longer scan to where I want to be in a program because if it’s not playing then they show a static ad, and if you go over and add break it will play 3 mins of ads, even if you just say through 3 mins by scanning over the last ad break.

      ITV is pretty bad as well. The only redeeming feature is that they have absolutely no content that any normal human would ever want to watch anyway, so nobody has to interact with it.

        Yeah, I noticed the same with ITV. Used to watch a program I’d often skip around. It couldn’t remember that 2 minutes ago, it had played me 90s of adverts. I ended up watching 70% adverts. Ended up paying £5 just to watch on anything other than ITV player. Absolute shite.
