The show was canceled at some point before hitting it big. On Conan O’Brien Needs a friend, Rashida Jones said the president of NBC had canceled it before boarding a plane, thought about it over the course of the flight, and decided to uncancel it after the plane landed.

The Office was canceled too, and apparently video on-demand numbers on iPod brought it back.
