Is this “surgeon general” retarded? Or is he merely a fucking stooge mouthpiece in a criminal organization?
Isn’t this the dipshit that green lighted putting nuclear waste in the asphalt used in Florida’s roads? Are he and wormbrains related?
Ladapo has always been a quack. DeSantis brought him on when COVID was still raging. DeSantis was interested in virtue signaling to the anti-vax element of his base. Then DeSantis set Ladapo up with a job at UF. The whole process reeked of cronyism.
Not the article I’m looking for but this covers some of it: https://www.politico.com/news/2023/11/27/joe-ladapo-university-of-florida-00128541
He’s absolutely batshit. It would be funny if he didn’t decide things for people.
This surgeon general has already made the news for getting rid of vax requirements and even recommendations for Florida schools.
According to this article, that measure failed.
I’d like to think the high measles counts are God’s punishment for all the child raping our president has done.
He seems to be punishing the wrong people, then. I don’t think much of this God fellow.
“You know, for some people — people may or may not know that the measles vaccines is developed with the cells that are a progeny from … an aborted fetus, and you know whether there’s a connection between the fact that you know some of the students at this university chose not to receive that vaccine, and it happens to be a vaccine that is related to the practice of abortion, I’m not sure.”
Is this even true? Are modern measles vaccines reliant on substances from an abortion?
the original rubella vaccine was made using human fetal embryo fibroblast cells obtained from two elective abortions in the 1960s.
The rubella vaccine is one of many vaccines that use the cell lines from those aborted fetuses, meaning they descend from the original fetal cells, but are not taken directly from new fetal tissue.
So it was originally developed using aborted fetal cells, but we just culture new cells from those original ones, not routinely turning new aborted fetuses into vaccines.
I could see the logical jump an anti-abortionist would make here. We wouldn’t have the tech without the aborted fetuses, so they have a hard-line stance against the tech. But it is a classic trolly-problem with their personal convictions on one side, and hundreds of lives (and growing) on the other.
So reading past all the brain-smegma, he’s admitting vaccination would’ve prevented the outbreak.
Since the MMR is given in infancy, it was their brainwashed parents who chose not to vaccinate them.
Correlation is not causation.
Non-correlation is non-causation though.
People opposed to measles vaccination are incredibly stupid. Republicans opposing abortion are also stupid. The Florida surgeon general is also stupid. Supporting quote from article below:
“You know, for some people — people may or may not know that the measles vaccines is developed with the cells that are a progeny from … an aborted fetus, and you know whether there’s a connection between the fact that you know some of the students at this university chose not to receive that vaccine, and it happens to be a vaccine that is related to the practice of abortion, I’m not sure.”
The measles vaccine is made by weakening a live measles virus through repeated growth in chick embryo cells, purifying it, and freeze-drying it into a powder for safe storage. The measles vaccine is not made from aborted human fetuses.
Seems like the cause is stupidity.
I’m terrified to learn that an actual doctor doesn’t understand grammar.
There’s a causation between that general talking and someone spreading nonsense.
Wut?
Prove god exists.
Which one?
