“Prime Video is in a position to pivot because it has developed ‘zeitgeist shows’ that subscribers will sign up to watch”

But have they really? I haven’t seen anything advertised on Prime that I’ve wanted to watch in a loooong time.

Well, there’s The Grand Tour, The Man in the High Castle, The Expanse, The Boys. All the “The…” shows you can shake a stick at.

wait, I’m being handed a note. mhm. mmhmm. I see.

It seems all of those have ended. Well there’s uh, there’s… Clarkson’s Farm? Invincible? idk I quit Prime when they introduced ads.

Hmmm, yes, those shows, tempting, tempting.

On the other hand there are rather easy means to get those in better quality from other sources and without ads.

Just salty that even the best quality downloaded movie from a paid service is still visibly worse than the quality of the same movie from a pirated source.
