I think you just said the thing I was trying to find in my comments. There’s no real payoff. It goes nowhere.

To hate the main character? Flawed characters are one thing, it’s another to show how the character fucks up the lives of everyone around her and she walks away smiling from it all as she basically fucks her way out of trouble. It’s been years since I watched it so I might not remember exactly, but even her family doesn’t really turn on her in the end.

Weeds. The show is ultimately so unsatisfying. I hated the main character by the end. Seemingly immune to any real consequences.

I really like Dead Cells but I never got that run where I was able to finish it. I need to get back to that game as well.

This is actually the reason I never finished the game. I pretty quickly got sick of looking every item up and/or constantly stopping to take notes about what items did. And I really like roguelikes a lot. But it felt like there was so much to have to memorize and for me in broke the otherwise fast pace of the game. Another victory for patient gaming!

Do companies no longer have Quality Assurance at all now? You don’t even need like a whole department, just make it part of someone’s job. This is crazy that there’s no proofreading.

At my local library you can do it through their library system website or the librariana will do it for you if you’re there in person. It’s really great.
