

I thought season 4 was actually decent enough. At least better than the two seasons that preceded it.
But I’ll say the same thing that I said back when season 2 was announced: it should’ve been an anthology series. Introduce a new cast and new location each season. Keep the 80’s, keep the general pretense of the upside-down even, but change it up each time to keep it from getting stale.
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted just for that reasonable opinion, especially in a thread discussing concerns about a potentially negative reaction to season 5.
If season 5 doesn’t deliver, then season 4 being decent isn’t worth anything anyways. Why don’t we all wait to see how the thing ends before telling people they’re wrong for not being invested in it?
