6·2 months agoI know that the article says that these entities all vow to “keep data storage and processing within national or European borders”, but how are they achieving that at scale?
Does this movement also apply to the underlying cloud-infra too? I don’t see any related info on the infrastructure part of this being moved away from AWS, Azure or GCP.
Mainly interested in how these organisations are going to solve this problem, as I’ve been working to do something similar myself… and it’s hard to be completely independent of these hyperscalers.

19·5 months agoAlthough the company never officially said that’s why they picked the name, the name is often though to represent the nature of the route; “City to Coast”, or “Capital to Coast”.

I just looked at this as I’m looking for a self hosted version, and Zulip has the same 10000 message history limit as the OP.
