It is! I just messed up the link.
Sounds pretty neat, thanks for sharing :)

Pretty cool! Reminds of the city logo for Grand Rapids, Michigan.
How do I short Nvidia so I can cash in on the bubble’s inevitable burst?
Thanks, I’ll do my best! o7
I’ll plug the podcast Live Like The World Is Dying.
From their website: “How do we live in a world that might be ending? By preparing to survive that end and by working to prevent it. Live Like the World is Dying features interviews with people who think about how to prepare for and survive crises.”
Yeah, I buy CDs or vinyl quite often. I’ve got a few cassette tapes kicking around too. Bandcamp is also a good option to genuinely purchase the digital files
I love the Field Roast veggie sausages. I don’t feel like they’re trying and failing to imitate meat, but rather that they’re trying to make something tasty that hits the form factor and general savoriness of meat. And they do that well, imo
Sometimes I like to purchase music, for artists that I’m a big fan of and want to financially support.
I am very happy with my recent switch from Spotify to TIDAL
Mass electrification of end uses, with nuclear for clean firm baseload, and wind and solar plus storage for peaks, is the future of energy. The longer the US is unwilling to let go of fossil fuels, the further behind it will be. China already has enough of an advantage that it has secured its position as the global leader of energy technology for at least the next century.
Awesome, thanks! Sounds like just what I’m looking for
I just switched from Spotify to TIDAL, and it appears to have a Live session feature. I haven’t tried it yet tho
Well, for me personally, since I’m an anarchist, I’d rather have neither. Power corrupts, and giving too much unchecked power to any individual will lead to harm. Even FDR, one of America’s “best” presidents, also oversaw redlining and the Japanese internment camps.
Ah yes, Eisenhower, famously a good guy for running fucking Operation Wetback.
Could you teach a cat to use a train? Like, imagine you had a bunch of time and money, and make a miniature subway system, complete with stops. And then you somehow teach the cat how to tell one stop from the other. Would it actually eventually understand and ride it?
If you add the words “liberal, capitalist” in front of democracy, I agree with you. But I believe that democracy as a whole is a worthy ideal worth striving towards, in all areas of public life.
Yeah, I agree that the left and liberals are broadly opposed to AI, and the right dove in headfirst. I just don’t get how lacking the ability to spew shitty cat videos and deepfakes means we on the left are hampering our own progress.
Falling behind in what way? Financial advantage? I’m not sure that the left have ever had that. How would adopting AI aid the left’s cause?
Just for my own education, if you don’t mind - how were you able to tell someone was hammering on the port if it was closed? Would fail2ban have been an option to stop them?
It’s funny, because they clearly have the idea in their head that Wikipedia is a single organization capable of an ideological bias. When if you take a single look at some talk pages, it would become clear very quickly that Wikipedia is built on people vociferously disagreeing and bringing sources to make the information presented ever more credible and unbiased.
