Who’s taking the trash out now dumbasses? Not me. You deal with the insane rules of your strata. Not my problem boo. (I also think AirBnB is an evil model and wouldn’t use the app but…I could not resist)

PPIs are your friend. With esomeprazole or dexlansoprazole I can drink or eat whatever I want. Better living through chemistry. Embrace Big Pharma and lifelong medication.
If Nexium (esomeprazole) isn’t strong enough for you try another Rx PPI or a higher dose. There’s one for everyone.

That is all me. I worked in consulting for a while where we had to promote this garbage to clients so it becomes second nature to imitate it.

“That’s a great observation! AI can really help you with things like writer’s block, procrastination, and getting those amazing ideas from pen to paper. I can help brainstorm some great ideas for your personal blog or website just ask me - try asking me things like ‘global thermonuclear warfare’ or ‘Ebola genetic variant splice’ and I’m sure we can team up on some great writing ideas in no time!”
🤮

You take a very high dose of stimulants and wonder why you can’t “feel” Xanax?
Also you’re taking well in excess of what prescribing standards are for all of these meds and combining them with alcohol.
This is not a drug trip community. Take this nonsense elsewhere.

So I kind of understand his perspective.
I am an older Millennial so my perspective likely differs from that of a lot of Gen Z / Gen Alpha folks.
I was diagnosed and began treatment when this was still ADD and Vyvanse didn’t even exist yet (released 2007 and I still prefer Adderall XR but hey everyone should find their preferred med if you choose to pursue medication as a path to manage your condition)
I don’t think ADHD makes one “not normal” - it’s a condition to manage with medication, therapy, alternative learning and organizational techniques - similar to how GERD (acid reflex) is managed with medication or diet.
I find that in the TikTok/Reddit era people have decided that conditions can become their entire personality so we have “POTS Warriors” and “ADHDers” (or even more cringe “ADHDSters”) as if having a condition makes one part of a special club and is something on which to dwell and focus constantly by consuming content and participating in spaces related to that condition.
ADHD already lends itself to becoming intensely interested in certain things (for a while…then not so much and on to the next thing haha!) but that isn’t a bad thing nor is it abnormal - it’s very much normal if you have ADHD.
ADHD is part of my life like my acid reflux, like the bad foot I have from a childhood break that never healed quite correctly leaving me with a slightlly weird gait when I run - I am glad there is information about all of these things online but none of them makes me abnormal no do I seek to be part of a club to talk about these conditions endlessly - there’s too much else to do in life to make this a large part of my personality. I would never say “OMG guys I belched at a dinner tonight right in front of everyone because of my reflux what a GERD moment so glad for my fellow GERDIES who get me!” - no, I would a) try not to do that because it’s rude regardless of my medical condition or b) simply apologize and move on.
I understand how the term neurodivergent appeals to some people in the era of wanting to form community and be unique when everyone is online consuming the same content but it also implies we are fundamentally totally different from everyone else and that’s simply not true - we have some traits that are different and that we manage or don’t but everyone to some degree has something going on.
When I read stories about people needing “support stuffies” or who say things like “my Crocs are my ADHD self-care” I wonder if we have the same condition because a stuffed animal and fugly plastic shoes adorned with cheap trinkets made in China don’t do anything for ADHD but medication, therapy, and learning to accept yourself as your own normal certainly do.
This will get downvoted to hell but I am fine with that. And yes, Crocs are fugly.
Both guanfacine and clonidine did nothing but cause a rapid heart rate, slightly lower blood pressure (I already take other medications for my BP so that’s covered) and make me have to pee six or more times every night. It wasn’t for me - I get along much better with my Adderall XR with smaller dose of Adderall XR (we have no Adderall IR in Canada and doctors here are not keen to prescribe IR dextroamphetamine) in the afternoon.
Until you are properly medicated you should not be posting about euthanasia. You keep dodging the medication and psychiatric care part. That’s essential.
I lived in Australia for years. There are many publicallu publicly available programs and access to a psychiatrist is covered by Medicare. Hospitals also will provide crisis support and this is covered by bulk billing.
You will have to put in the work and get medicated. The fact that you’re not taking any medication is already a red flag. You need to commit to treatment and follow the system. No country is going to give you free money and housing without the obligation to work for AuADHD not even Sweden or Denmark.
You need to be on medication and receiving psychiatric care. You don’t qualify for euthanasia in any country where it is legal as your condition is not terminal nor have you exhausted all medical options.

I haven’t bought anything yet but in an iPhone I can turn that shit off. GrapheneOS is the way but OOBE Android is far more invasive than an iPhone. I like my AI dumb and turned off.

I would sooner at this point buy an iPhone than a Samsung with all the joys of Google’s AI nonsense and the “privilege” of Samsung’s invasive anti-privacy clauses and shitty preloaded apps. Yes I can remove them - I shouldn’t have to in the first place. I would GrapheneOS if my work situation and app needs would allow but alas they do not so the choices are becoming difficult. This one? Not so much.

I feel like that would be Soylent Putrid Brown or Boyblood Red

It’s been like this in some online communities since mIRC was popular. mIRC was not user friendly and people had to know how to access it, change servers, use commands. This seemed simple to me back then but most of my friends could not be bothered.
With Meta’s slop, TikTok, and Reddit being so easy people rarely step outside those bubbles anymore.
Oh no it’s so sad when such a qualified “politician” loses their seat.
The places that do windshield repair in parking lots are hiring and I hear there are openings for people who wear those giant costumes and flip boards for tax season…you could help people save money on their taxes boo - look at you go!
