If I had to guess is because you can be tracked by your screen resolution too, It’s just a way to minimize that. If you start tor browser, for example, it does not open full screen but only occupy a smaller window, for the same reason

Saw them and Exodus this summer and it was amazing. I was worried for Kreator because the first song was so so, but they simply need a warm-up, the rest of the concert was amazing! Exodus kicked ass and it was the first time I did crowd surfing, also a great mosh pit all around.

I think most selfhosters already know/use Linux, so management issues are already known. About the ease of use, if you manage services with docker it’s really easy to bring them up/down, and if you want some GUI there’s portainer.
