The same thing that made phones bigger, bandwidth wider, and probably one of the biggest uses of AI.
Horny people want sex without other people. In this case, sexbots.

They probably won’t because I think they’d taste disgusting.
I’d try one if I knew it wasn’t poisonous tho.
Not to mention that they say they don’t have to abide by local laws because they aren’t located there.
Yes Finland, I saw the sign covered with vines and thought it’d make a good photo
I can understand people talking foreign languages about 70% of the time, using body language and tone.
That being said, my dog understands more words than I think, places especially. Double if he’s met bitches on heat there.
All they would have to do is turn location sharing off, and change passwords. More likely they would talk about it and agree to split rather than just run off. You know, like adults.
My partner and I share locations. We check sometimes how far away from home they are when walking the dog, or coming from work. Also handy when one of us “loses” their phone and the other can see it’s at home/in the car/at work. But we have trust, and don’t need to check where the other is spending time.
I think in Finland it is a basic utility like power and water. It is certainly priced like that.
“it won’t bother me, I’ll be dead before then” – boomers.
That’s how I did it for years . Turn the heat down when it starts popping and take it off the heat when it slows down.
It’s also possible that they work people until they die, as all the AI from companies communicate and if you get fired from one, you can’t get work anymore. People are a resource that keeps regenerating after all.
When manual workers were replaced by robots, they were told to “retrain and reskill” to get new jobs.
Perhaps these CEO’s can retrain to be plumbers, there’s good money there.
I know many people, including me, that fall victim to the manipulation of advertising.
Back in the olden days, it was “here is my product, and this is the price, if you like it buy from this store” Now it’s not just the actual ad, it’s product placement in tv and movies, celebrity endorsement, influencers, and all that.
Just remember that advertising costs money, and that is in the price of the product. Products that don’t advertise can easily be better value.
I use Zerotier. I have a rpi sharing my Linux isos through a commercial VPN. The RPI has Zerotier as well as my other devices, so I can connect to it from anywhere as if it was on my home network.
That’s my address!
I set up, many years ago, a RPI1 with USB cameras attached. Running the software “Motion”. I put Zerotier on it and made a little web page that shows the cameras. I could have the page show any USB cameras on my network, but I think the RPI1 is too low powered for more than two.
Motion will record, or only record when motion is detected and there’s a whole lot of options.
Mine is still running almost ten years later, with only a small upgrade to the cameras.
