There is no peaceful solution for conservatism. The millions willing to fight need a communication platform that won’t censor our discussions and planning. We don’t have any such platform right now.

There is no peaceful solution to conservatism/fascism. It’s time to finish our civil war properly.

I agree we should not start with violence. And we didn’t start with violence. Our peaceful protests have been met with violence and 50 year prison sentences for non-violent protest. The time for non-violent methods has passed. There is no peaceful solution any more.

But we need to be able to communicate to organize the next steps. Those of us ready and willing to engage in those next steps don’t have any platform or place for that as far as I can tell. Where do we sign up to fight? Where do we go to train with others? Where do we go to even communicate plans without our comments being removed?

A conservative cannot change. It can only stop existing. Every time I call for that change to happen on social media like lemmy, the post gets removed.

We desperately need to finish the civil war. As long as conservatives exist, the evil version of the US exists. We can solve that, but not without the ability to fucking at least communicate and organize. Where can I go to be involved in organized vi----t resistance?

Corporations and even independent platforms like Lemmy forbid such discussion. But there is absolutely no peaceful solution to conservatism/fascism. We’re stuck. Should we take direct violent action against neighbors at this point? The results would not be enough without organizing.

Everyone demands action, but no one seems to have a good answer on how to communicate about what actually needs to be done. We need a platform we can actually communicate on without comments being removed for “promoting violence”.

“Almost always violent” is a decent upgrade from “definitely always violent from now on”.

Conservatives are violent fascists by nature. History proves this. They should not be in charge of anything at all. Ever. The moment they hold any kind of authority, they become an infestation of pests.

The certain type of person you describe is called a “conservative”.

I disagree with the conservative talking point that people become more conservative as they age. I have observed that only conservatives become more conservative as they age.

My comment that normal people will abandon conservatism as they age refers to young people abandoning conservatism in their 20’s because their empathy is completely incompatible with conservatism.

A young normal person who can experience empathy may be raised in a conservative household and may be trained to be conservative as a child. But as they grow up and are able to form their own views of the world, they will find their empathy to be completely incompatible with conservatism. It is not possible to experience empathy and hold conservative views simultaneously. Conservatism is not compatible with empathy. A young adult who can experience empathy will naturally move away from conservatism as they recognize how incompatible it is with being a normal, empathetic human.

Conservatives are biologically unable to experience empathy. A child who is biologically unable to experience empathy and is raised in a conservative home is likely to become more conservative as they age because they have not been taught to value empathy.

Further, conservatives often train their children to avoid and dislike empathy. They often call empathy “woke” and teach their children to use that word as a pejorative for any empathetic act.

A person who cannot experience empathy may grow up with these lessons as their core values, becoming more bold about them as they age. However, a person who can experience empathy is likely to discard these lessons as they age because they are incongruent with the empathy they can personally experience and observe in others.

I disagree. While it is possible for a young person to learn to be conservative in their youth, a normal person will necessarily abandon conservatism as they get older. This is because a normal person will have the ability to experience empathy. It is not possible to experience empathy and hold conservative views simultaneously. Conservatism defies empathy. A person who feels empathy for others cannot also hold conservative views. They are simply incompatible with empathy in every respect.

Not only are conservatives biologically unable to experience empathy, but they also choose malice and greed in service to their narcissism. Conservatives are unable to be taught to be normal, just as a normal person cannot be taught to be conservative in any real, lasting way. We are fundamentally, biologically different from one another.

This is an apt analogy. Conservatism IS cancer. It spreads and brings with it only sickness and death. There is no way to change cancer. Letting it live will kill the patient. The only cure causes pain and suffering for the survivor. Treatment is painful, messy and dangerous, but is absolutely required for survival.

No one wants to talk about the cure for conservatism. Even the topic is uncomfortable.

This is exactly how I feel every time I suggest the correct way to deal with conservative fascism is with violence. Some commenter will always come along with, “that makes you just as bad as them” and “you’re part of the problem”.

Part of the problem? Bitch, resisting force with force isn’t the fucking problem. It’s the solution.

Remember how they celebrated the deaths of gay people by AIDS and by gay-bashing from the 80’s through the 90’s. They fucking CELEBRATED the deaths.

Conservatives also did everything in their power to defund and delete any AIDS research and prevent any police agencies from committing any resources to stop the violence against queer folk. Oppression has ALWAYS been part of their political platform.

This isn’t the far right. It’s just plain old conservatism, just as it’s always been throughout all human history. Conservatives are truly, deeply evil. It is immoral to keep a relationship with any of them. Disown them all.

Conservatives will always look for ways to oppress as many of the normal people as possible. This is because all conservatives have a deep, instinctive need to harm others.

When conservatives have power, they will always use that power to oppress the normal people. Always. Throughout all recorded human history, the conservatives of every civilization have been the source of every act of oppression ever commited.

Tuberville’s comments are comical, but the absurdity comes from genuine, pure evil. We rationalize that evil by calling it conservatism. But that’s all conservatism is. It’s just evil by every definition of the word.
