I’d say at least maybe some Americans will get a TV show about a somewhat functional democracy, but honestly the ones who need to see it aren’t gonna pay for it, and probably wouldn’t watch it if it was free.

I hate Whitehouse dramas because they portray everyone as competant and not corrupt.

This makes sense on some level. The original aired during the Bush Jr years. Part of it’s success was the escapist fantasy it offered of a Democrat administration trying to put the job and country before themselves.
