Not only were they leaving the square, they were never again deployed at any point throughout the month of June 1989, and a package of democratic reforms was quickly passed and the protesters all were free to go about their daily lives. That guy was just silly and confused, there was nothing to be concerned about and definitely no reason to think tanks which had just fired on civilians would be doing anything else bad such as being redeployed and continuing to enforce martial law.
A) Why there was no blood on or around the tanks as they left the square, when the popular story is that they were running people over, and
B) Why the tank crews, who had supposedly been killing people right up until that moment, all just simultaneously decided not to kill one more who was in their way?

There is literally zero evidence, and there is contrary evidence from several Western journalists who were on the scene that day. You’ve been duped; virtually all of us were.
