They do have their own “dollar” (known as Bahamian dollar), its interchangeable with US Dollar as its a 1:1 peg meaning value remains the same (B$100 also equates to $100) but they have a bill for $1/2 (50c), so there are 8 denominations & it’s a strong currency with a caveat (it’s closed, it can’t be exchanged outside the country).
