Well it was good first post, imo. There will always be some people that get annoyed online for some reason or another, but being concerned to improve on how we interact is how we can build a better community. Kudos :)

I’ve kept getting the same complaints even after I joined, though, so I’m not sure they’re entirely related.
… and most of all: not enough users. Where the masses are, that’s where it’s at. Sometimes I’d like to go back and experience for myself how that worked out for the naysayers. Or rather yay (to reddit) sayers.

The low barrier to entry means a small amount of people just make new accounts all the time to ask obvious bait questions and some people on here actually fall for it routinely
This whole “what do you think of Reddit” and I guess now “what does Reddit think of Lemmy” discussion (debate?) is so tiring. I really don’t give a shit what others think about Lemmy; they’re free to form their own opinions.
