Either: Scouts mispronounces the name in a “baby talk” way. “Kingons” are a distinct species from Klingons. Scouts changed the name of Klingons. That article was written by someone who apparently lives under a rock so huge that they’ve never heard the word “Klingon” mispronounced. That article author typoed. Whichever it is, I’m pissed.
