Kenneth Cordele Griffin must have cooked the books

I’m interested to know how legal their proposed work around to the EU rules that an EU airline has to be “>80% owned by EU citizens”. It being in a holding company owned by 2 Europeans but actually somehow owned by a US Investment company seems very dodgy.
