The producers of 'The Simpsons' have revealed there will be fewer episodes each season as the show extends to its 40th anniversary

Sounds like slight cost cutting, which is fine.

Most episodes this past season were great, but obviously you have a few filler episodes that were just ok, which really just means you have an idea that didn’t work.

Full steam ahead I say!
