That’s where “kinda” is about, to be honest. Especially it’s hard to tell if it even works (if the point is really to help people). I agree, freedom of movement and participation in society must not be gated in any way.

Non-nuanced explanation: Top flag - pro-cop. Bottom flag - libertarian, “anti-government”. You can’t be both.
I’ve seen more people from lower income trying out gambling to get out of poverty (or in hopes to have something to eat for the week). So it kinda makes sense in this situation, maybe?
I like to think of “parents and tech” as “kids and toys”. They don’t understand it, they just want to use it and enjoy it. And they certainly don’t care what problematic ethics are involved. So just like with kids, we have to be more careful and caring. And we definitely don’t want to overwhelm them with too much information.
Is uBlock Origin still the king? Been using it since it came out and I genuinely don’t understand the ads problem. Sponsorblock is also a huge help.

Not really, because the process of getting this ethanol can not yield perfect results. I don’t know about other countries but in Russia the actual alcohol used in vodka is tiered like this (worst to best, mostly by impure contents): “Высшей очистки” (of highest purification, not really in use as of today, and refers to the process used in USSR times), “Basis”, “Extra”, “Lux”, and “Alpha”.
Alpha-grade alcohol is also defined to be produced only from wheat, whereas other ones might be made from potato. This achieves lower methanol content in the product.
Still tastes like crap though, no matter the cost. Vodka is a ritual: you need a good company and a table full of different kinds of food to enjoy it.
