True, but I think that one’s a bit different, because 輩先 (usually written in katakana as パイセン) is a humorous slang term based off 先輩.

There are also a few occasions in Japanese where both inversions are acceptable words, such as 理論 riron ‘theory’ and 論理 ronri ‘logic’, or 便利 benri ‘convenient’ and 利便 riben ‘convenient (but fancy-sounding)’.

Basically, Andy Burnham has majority support within the Labour Party to be the next PM, but he wasn’t a member of Parliament, which is necessary to challenge a current PM for the role. So the Parliament member for Makerfield resigned to hold a special election so that he could (hopefully) win the seat, which he did, and now he’s set to become the new PM.

I thought they were supposed to drain the swamp, turns out they were just making more swamps all along
