Yeah my male is a bit odd. He does this if he doesn’t have an extra long litter box. Not because he’s too long, he’s just strange.
I used this when I had two males also. The female was not a fan. She used the other boxes. The boys loved it though.
Highly recommend signing up for the zoetis pet rewards if you go this route. Get some money back. Side note, thanks for reminding me to submit my invoice!
Exact same situation here. My old vet was useless. New one recognized it as soon as she saw her walk.
Mine started this and then slowly over months started peeing in my shower and in front of the litter box. Turns out she has arthritis in her back (she’s about 20 now!). So days when things hurt more she would find alternate ways to pee. Now she’s on a shot for the arthritis and no more peeing where she’s not supposed to.
The other cat though, he just enjoys being half in the litter box. He’s a little bit weird though.
Haha even better the blanket is mimicking a tarot card with a skeleton hand giving the middle finger and it says “The Zero of Fucks” and I love it

1·1 month agoAs a Harry Potter fan that would love to see this, this is absolutely the right call. Fuck her.
I’m sure there’s a few more but this is what I could think of off the top of my head. It gives you a starting place to check things out.
But for someone who knows none of this, I’d say starting with email is an easy (ish) one. Then whatever the main apps she uses are. Look for FOSS alternatives. It doesn’t need to be everything all at once all the time. One at a time is fine.
Also if she’s on Reddit and not the fediverse r/degoogle and r/privacy are still decent places to learn a few things. If she’s on neither, there’s a lady on most of the big social media platforms called “cut off the spigot.” She covers alternatives for a lot more than just Google though. A lot of finding alternatives to private equity companies.
