This is fair though. I might even agree that this whole situation has indeed uncovered areas where the USA could be doing some things better.
Importing more than you export to a country is not financially ideal but solving it with tarrifs or blaming the other part that they dont buy more from you is not the way to correct this.
Their perspective is from the other side of the situation though and the information is distributes by a media that seems to have an (not so secret) agenda
