Try to automate updates as much as possible so that new security bugs get fixed quickly.
I like flatpaks when they come from the developer. They are often more stable, up-to-date and complete than those from OS repositories.
What I don’t like about them is when I have to fight the permissions. They’re often too tight and make integration with the rest of the OS too hard.

What’s so strange to me is that prices in the EU are regional anyways, independent of currency. Even inside Germany prices can vary from region to region. I moved from the west to the middle and although my salary went down my living standards remained the same.

They are set up automatically on OpenSUSE and make a new snapshot before and after every program installation, update and removal. Awesome for general peace of mind and especially when you’re up to strange shenanigans.
