News@lemmy.world•Immigrant father of three Marines is violently detained, injured by federal agents, son saysEnglish
14·11 months agoYou don’t even know who to sue thanks to the masks, they will charge him with assault afterwards and Tricia McLaughlin will lie again about as soon as she opens her mouth
What do you mean with blood to imaging.
Even my small 120 bed hospital in the black forest has a CT, and an MRI.They also have their own laboratory for blood analysis, and can teleconsult specialists in the University Hospital 24/7 if a Stroke Patient should be transferred to them
Also in this case the University Hospital fucked up the case too.
So yes, bigger hospitals have better outcomes in certain areas, this is not a good example for this point.
And it’s also convenient to be better in stats with care concentrated on bigger hospitals when you measure outcomes only starting at the hospital door
If you need 1-2 hours to reach the hospital in Denmark with an acute myocardial infarction (it’s an example our previous health minister loved), then the cases still alive when reaching it might be not the worst ones, because they died already on the way there

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Berlin: proposal to remove 30 km/h zones because air quality improved, thanks to 30 km/h zonesEnglish
10·11 months agoThey have a new conservative government in Berlin which wants to end “the war against cars” and rolls every progress back. They also remove bike lanes “because they cost parking spaces”
It doesn’t make sense, they are conservatives after all
Why do they distribute pills at all in these little custom boxes in the US?
Everywhere else in the world you just get a prepackaged box with blisters inside. No customisation at all. No name of the doctor, no name of the patient. Just on the prescription

12·11 months agoWhy a open letter and not a lawsuit?
They don’t do it yet.
The parliament simply endorsed it. The final decision lies with their security council
While Iranian state media reported that the parliament had agreed to endorse blocking the strait, the decision ultimately belongs to Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
