Same. Except my first pc was running DOS on a black and amber CRT…so switching to Linux even part time in 2010 was pretty easy for me to wrap my head around in terms of CLI stuff.

After my back, my knees are the most fucked, followed closely by my shoulders and then hands.
Unless these things can take all or most off the strain off of my broken bits…not fucking interested.
Almost uncertainty for sure not, but probably potentially maybe.

I’ve got a foldable. Total game changer for when I’m on site trying to write up an invoice. Can have 3 windows open, timesheet, receipts and invoice spreadsheet. No swapping back and forth, it’s all just there.
Closed it’s a regular slab phone, open it’s a small tablet.
It’s not exactly rocket surgery…
System latency, weird USB drivers that don’t play nice with my audio deck, video drivers won’t be kept up to date and compatible soon for gaming cards as it’s meant for commercial applications. Also fuck windows.
it seems things have improved dramatically.
Like maxo said, things are definitely waaaaaaaay better than 10 years ago.
I’d say roughly 80% of my windows only games run as good as on windows, and probably 25-30% of my full library (not just what runs in proton) runs better in Linux with proton/wine than they do in win11.
Mostly what doesn’t work is stuff with kernel level anticheat.
Any day now!
My god… it’s like they’re already here!
🤣
Can’t wait to see what all the folk from ML make of this…
I’m not entirely sure we’re missing out on all that much with a few porn instances missing.
… obviously porn…you’re missing the porn
Wouldn’t charging money for blue checks or adding a subscription leave them open to lawsuits? That’s really the only reason I can think of, wanting to make money.
A fairly large portion of governments globally
10 and 15/16ths sadly. It’s being marketed as AI boosted to 12 though!
Eh, it happens. If that was an honest attempt to troll…kids these days need to up their fucking game.
slightly less stupid
Which is why that’s definitely not what’s going to happen…
Big Brother Watch, Open Rights Group and Index on Censorship made a submission to the court, arguing against proceedings taking in place in secret and in favour of open justice. Today, the Tribunal has rejected the Home Office’s application, stating it did not accept “that the revelation of the bare details of the case would be damaging to the public interest or prejudicial to national security”.
Neither myself nor, I’m assuming, the person you’re replying to wants to have the government with their grubby little fingers in our data.
What the person you’re replying to was saying had literally nothing to do with what you asked. Has to do with the above. It’s shocking that a UK court actually made a sane call. In this case, they decided that no, the government wasn’t entitled to a closed case. That the proceedings would be open, and the details would be available to the public. Like in a functioning democracy.
What always has me seeing red is when I’m deep diving forums searching for anyone who has had my exact issue. Finding people with similar, but not exactly the same, issues with easy solutions that don’t work for me. Finally finding one forum post from 9 months ago, it is literally the exact same issue I’m dealing with. One reply. It’s OP a few days/weeks/months later replying to their own post only to say:
But no solution, no response to commenting on the post or DMing…
Makes me wanna slap a mfr…
