Yeah. I run Wordpress on my personal blog, but after this I won’t use it for future projects. A community fork without all that stupid Jetpack shit would be great
It still is their choice that they willingly started that violence. And let’s be honest: If you want to protest against the war or even maybe try to find a way to find a way for peace in the middle east, violent destruction of a german university building is not the way
Hey Saleh,
we had this in another post and why are you still spreading misinformation about this? The university itself posted about this on the same day as the attack. Without any involvement of an parliamentary inquiry.

At least 40 people attempted to occupy the Presidential Building of Freie Universität Berlin on Thursday, October 17th at lunchtime. The attempted occupation was immediately broken up by the police. The people were extremely violent and physically attacked and verbally threatened employees. People were injured. Rooms were vandalized and slogans and Hamas triangles were sprayed on the walls of the historic building. Vandalism caused considerable damage to property throughout the building.
Employees reported that they were asked to leave their offices in English that was difficult to understand, under threat of violence. People who did not comply were physically attacked. Attackers tried to force open office doors that employees had locked from the inside for their own protection. The FU employees found it particularly worrying that they were unable to assess the intentions of the attackers who had entered the building.
So yeah, fuck those protestors.
I think the issue is not a peaceful occupation. Those are happening quite frequently, but the massive destruction they did. I participated in some occupations during my studies and that went without any damage. People did occupy a lecture hall or some university building, but left it without doing six-figure damages or threatening employees. That was quite a different thing here and therefore is handled differently.
Exactly this. We knew that everything would get shaky after he fired all those people and a data leak is the consequence
Hey Saleh, you’re modding /c/nahost and therefore know about the FU attack, which is the real issue here. This is not about someone shouting “From the river to the sea”, this is about a violent group of Hamas supporters causing 100.000€ of property damage. There is no country in the world that wouldn’t kick out foreigners doing that.

I’m not really sure that we Germans have decided that.
Just a question for people here who do not have 72 hours of food stored in their homes? Do you go to the supermarket every day? Or do you cook at all? What are you doing on the weekend? What happens when you’re sick and can’t go shopping?
Word and Powerpoint are not the worst - just think about all the time lost due to whatever Microsoft is doing in Teams or by random decisions like moving the start button to the middle instead of leaving it where it was since 1995, which automatically renders every corporate training video obsolete.
I really would like that everybody who is proposing a german nuclear bomb would also explain where Germany should test its new bomb. Bavaria? Mecklenburg? Erzgebirge?
Ok, that is a totally different use case than mine. I’m one of those guys browsing a selfhosting community on the fediverse and I only want to stream my own stuff to my mobile and provide my wife with audiobooks. If you’re providing a bigger group of people with streaming services, who are not tech savvy, another software might be the better solution. But that doesn’t mean that Jellyfin is bad - it’s just another use case with different requirements
But let’s be honest - it really is not complicated. That was a one minute configuration in my router.
I just setup jellyfin and it totally is the same. Install. Point it to a media folder. Setup port forwarding.
And those lifetime subscriptions are also a trap. They know that you have the money and are willing to pay and that you’re using their service. Do you really think that some business suit will be satisfied by your onetime payment back in 2022?
Axel Springer is totally a right wing press. And Matthias Döpfner, its CEO, totally went on record to celebrate the speech of Vance in Munich. Their german flagship journal, BILD, is reguarlly spreading propaganda and is pushing campaigns against migration and “the greens”. They are scum and shouldn’t be read.
And let’s not forget: Europe is literally drowning people who want to live there in the Mediterranean. There will also be refugees coming from whatever happens to the USA right now who want to get out. That map might be based on current population trends, but political events will change everything there.
I’m not sure where to continue here. Why is the president “criminal”? Was he convicted in a court of law?
And I’m not really sure what your general point is. Yes, the state wants to get rid of those protesters and now we are getting a court decision on the issue. So where exactly is the issue?
