gtkg is the only client being updated. you can then use the GUI. gtkg is very light.

install gtk-gnutella and run it. Configure to share your files, leave it runing and that’s it.

You need to write commands. There’s no TUI. If you just want to share from there, there’s no issue, but if you want to search and download from the search you are better using the normal gtk-gnutella (without the --shell) flag.
