Check out the 4th gen liquid metal-cooled breeder reactors. Those designs virtually eliminate the long-term radioactive waste produced by older reactor designs.

I have no direct experience with Longines, but they seem to have a good rep. Any mechanical watch will require service, and really a reremovedble brand should keep ticking for a very very long time if cared for.
