Earnestly anyone else I would assume hiding ill intent, but with Stallman i earnestly think he’s just too autistic to realize when he has an exceptionally stupid opinion that might sound fine in a frictionless vacuum with spherical cows

While Stallman and the FSF have done great things for FOSS software, Richard Stallman is a man who has needed to Shut The Fuck Up for well over two decades. Every time he decides to share some dipshit opinion he manages to set not just FOSS Software but all of nerdom back
He once had to have someone explain to him why he needed to immediately run back a post that was basically “but what if someone underage consents?” (To his credit, he did run it back)
He eats his own foot peelings in the middle of conference talks
He is…a parody of gross unsocialized nerds except it’s unironic

Not quite true, for low seat organizations there’s a fixed rate Teams plan

I dunno about today but this existed for years and was called something like Goodbye Windows IIRC

At least he isn’t Steve Bannon, he isn’t trying to suck his own cock

Weak attempt at insult, do better

Routers are usually hardware level optimized for throughput, filtering is inherently comremovedtionally expensive compared to routing (not crazy expensive just more than usually fits an FPGA), especially if you have to keep up multi-gigabit throughput
You could totally do it at the router, it would just become a more expensive piece of hardware and most people choose to cheap out

You provided no definitions, just implications, because you’re too scared to stand behind your own beliefs.
Own your own transphobia, coward.

At a 2tr$ targeted valuation (yes that number is silly but it’s also the IPO target) 1$mil is only a .05% equity stake and engineers usually get .1-.2%
There’s also Marvin, you can always tell a Milford Man
