A Russian Sausage is a South African imitation of the Polish Kielbasa that was adapted by early European immigrants in South Africa. So a Russian Roll is pretty much a Hot Dog Roll but with a Russian Sausage instead

It’s saturday here and I’m working from home. Got me a russian roll and chippies (or french fries). Yum.

Generally speaking, you’ll want to follow the 3-2-1 storage rule.
(3 Copies, 2 Media Types, 1 Off-site)
Copy 1 would be the original info saved on your main drive or wherever you access them immediately.
Copy 2 is a local backup saved to an external hard drive or a home server, ideally one that’s powered off and not connected to direct power (lightning strikes)
Copy 3 can either be a cloud storage backup (such as Google Drive or OneDrive) or a copy kept at a friend’s house.

How dare you come here with your sound logic and reason that makes sense

This is actually great!
Social media sites should do this. There’s never a good reason to be on [Insert Corporate Slop Social Media Website here] at 3AM.
Technology is healing

I’m probably being overly semantic but perhaps saying “A person with a blue hat and dark skin” would be the least abrasive way of putting it? That said, obsessing over endless semantic refinement and searching for a flawless alternative that does not exist for fear of hypothetical offense will lead to recursive over-correction ad nauseam

You’re right, these are awful. Have an upvote

Random but in Afrikaans, oom means uncle. Thought that was mildly humorous.

For starters don’t call women females. Yes it’s technically accurate or whatever but that’s beside the point.
Generally avoid complimenting their physique or appearance. Other than that, just be nice to them the way you are with your friends and be platonic by default.
“Cool shoes.”
But like, also be genuine about it. If they aren’t cool shoes then don’t say they’re cool shoes. Find something else that’s cool.

Any good thing is ruined once it’s co-opted by capitalism.
AI and LLMs (In my very very personal and completely subjective opinion) is the coolest shit humanity has ever invented and under the right system would’ve been unanimously celebrated.
But noooooooo, capitalism had to go and fucking turn a miraculous tool for human creativity and knowledge into a relentless driver of layoffs, corporate slop and copyright theft because some greedy fucks want more money for themselves than they know what to do with.
But, well, that’s just, like, my opinion, man.

I am addicted to escalators. My doctor put me on a 12-step program

When I’m scrolling any feed, whenever I see a post I don’t want to see, I block that community or add a keyword to my filters.
So far I’ve blocked over a hundred communities and it’s killed most of the adrenal rage-bait political posts that don’t do anything other than rile me up. It’s one thing to be aware of shitty things happening but it’s another thing to doomscroll just for the adrenaline hit, and as a person with general anxiety I want to feel better after scrolling rather than worse
Any intentional choice made to capture human attention functions as an algorithm.
For instance, when a creator posts an intentionally silly title, it triggers a predictable urge in users to comment on that silliness. This deliberate cause-and-effect cycle means the creator’s strategy itself is the engagement-driving algorithm. A good example of this human-designed system is ragebaiting which systematically uses manufactured outrage to multiply views and comments
