Selfish, childish, propagandized and mostly unthinking and amoral people are big enough pluralities in certain societies and only an ideological awakening post societal collapse could help it, yes. I mean, if you live in the West for instance, what exactly is stopping you from just “focusing on yourself”, or pushing you to be prosocial and wise? 🤷

Which members of society overwhelmingly wear skirts and crop tops? Why do you think you’re asking this question?! 🙄 And the conversation is not about whether you can or cannot do it, but what that says about you as a self-proclaimed heterosexual man and whether women as a whole will view it and the attitudes and ideology behind it positively or negatively.

Everyone wears “what they feel is cool”, wearing skirts and crop tops shows people you think that’s cool, and that informs people of who you are as a person to a certain degree (the kind of man who likes wearing skirts and crop tops).

Of course you’re free, and no one is legally allowed to lock you up or restrict you in whatever way to stop you from wearing crop tops and skirts, lol, that’s not the conversation here. And I’d rather you said “it’s not immoral for me to dress like a girl” than going for the “I do what I want, you’re not my dad!” line, at least it shows more maturity.

I assume the vast majority of women would think it’s a gigantic, flashing “red flag” (if you claim to be straight, at least), but in Western online spaces you’ll probably find a good amount of women that will find it hot or “progressive”.

Some people are more reckless and others more fearful. Both can be productive, but it’s wiser (as it usually is), to pull yourself towards the middle.

They come from the “average man”, intellectually cowardly and living by inertia, and whose entire ideology was most likely fed to them by mass media and propaganda, IME. They’ve never thought independently about anything deep, and if they did at some point it brought nothing but frustration and further confusion to their lives so they’re triggered by anyone trying to have a thoughtful exploration as it might bring the house of cards that is their worldview down. As such, their gut reaction is to “shut it all down”, using whatever poor argument they have at hand to do so (because if they were wise enough to be honest about their reasons for being against this potentially productive convo, they wouldn’t react this way in the first place). 🤷

I mean, if you truly have no other choice, what else can you do? Can it even be considered evil at that point or just “still painful”? If I have to chop off my/someone’s gangrenous leg to ensure survival, is that evil or just, you know, not ideal? It’s important not to get too lost in semantics…
