The shorter the headline the better 👍

“Won’t somebody think of the CEOs?”

$100k per person. And what’s 75 people considering the masses ICE goons are rounding up. Must be this “government efficiency”. If the situation was less fucked up alround, this alone would create an outrage, mostly from those very same far-right knuckleheads.
Un-fucking-believable. Thank you Snopes, thank you OP.
That’s WinRAR.

you don’t like us
Are you US American? It seems like you are equating NATO to the USA. Which makes about as much sense as saying that the Internet is American.

The US is in NATO.

At least in the USA there’s a good chance they’ll get it too, despite The Don’s inability to say “China” without derision.

Here, in Southern Finland, the last few Januaries have been way too warm, snowing/melting all the time. Now it’s a consistent -5°C - -10°C, which is, at least historically, totally adequate for this time of year.
There were some strong winds though.
How bad is it elsewhere?
I am of course not dismissing climate change, but the tragedy here seems to be that people have forgotten how to properly prepare for a normal winter. Not that that was ever a thing in, say, Germany, where I used to live.

My first thought, too. “Compared to what?”

extra-judicial execution aka first degree murder

Me, on a 13yo laptop and a 5yo phone: don’t worry, we still own the internet.

AI companies have basically pre-ordered a fuck ton of components that have not been manufactured yet to be put into computers that haven’t even been made yet for datacenters that are not even built yet all on an electrical grid that hasn’t caught up.
Beautiful. The very definition of a bubble.

End of NSA dependence
If US tech giants like Google, Meta, or X do not cooperate with requests, the BND would be allowed to penetrate their systems secretly.
I’ll take it.
The powers of the Federal Intelligence Service (BND) are to be extended
This would even apply to IT infrastructures within Germany, provided it is necessary to defend against hostile cyberattacks. The line between domestic and foreign intelligence gathering would thus be difficult to maintain.
Or maybe not…
Roughly 10 years ago people talked a lot about Big Data and how it maybe isn’t the best solution to Everything™. What happened to that? Oh yeah, the AI hype, cheap storage etc.

“Grants Asylum” between two EU countries? 🤔
Turns out this is a perfect example out of the alt-right playbook:
And Reuters’ reporting remains “factual” without adding that it is manufactured drama

So the EU are Making Plans For Nigel?
Just fuck Farage and his “reform”.

Yeah, both the proposal and the tech firms “worry” seem to be double-edged swords.

Also no, this does not qualify as an “extreme” winter. This would’ve been a regular winter not 15 years ago. Extreme winter is one where you would be snow in april in Spain or something.
Or where the snow just builds up until every free space is filled with snow mountains. Actually that isn’t “extreme” either, that’s just a good winter.
Oof, he gets roasted thousandfold. On X! I had to scroll hundreds of responses down to find the first alt-right comment and I’m not even sure if that was a parody account.
