    I live in rural Canada. It’s truck country. Like, every second vehicle. No one here would have been caught dead in a cyber truck BEFORE his shenanigans. I remember showing my family the concept photos and they reacted, poorly. There is no fucking way those sales go up.

      I’m 100% certain that people who actually use trucks for their intended purpose were not the target demographic – it was rich kids who wanted a cool tech toy, while also playing dressup with the “labourer” aesthetic.

        Yep. Monied tech bros from the bay area & etc was always the target demographic. It was never expected to sell to actual workers.

        Unfortunately it seems the overlap between nazis and tech bros wasn’t as high as he thought
