Everyone in Austin knows where this house is. All his neighbors have beef with what he’s done there and it’s been in the news. I doubt he ever goes there based on what I’ve read.
(Technically it’s in Westlake, which is a wealthy, white suburb that incorporated itself decades ago to avoid being annexed by the city of Austin. A lot of “fiscal conservatives” there.)
I think they’re probably more annoyed by the fact that it doesn’t appear to actually be used as a private domicile and it’s fucking up the scenery and inviting a lot of noise pollution and traffic that wasn’t there before.
Also a bit of a dick move to just ignore all the local ordinances everyone else there is abiding by. Like a 6 foot fence is quite different than a 16 foot one.
God I wish I could see Musk in a guillotine. That’s the public execution I’d like to watch.
