The title only mentions YouTube, Meta, and Twitch but the body of the article mentions that Kick, TikTok, and X (Formally Twitter) also. With Kick and TikTok saying that a livestream of an execution would violate their policies but with X (formally Twitter) being with YouTube, Meta, and Twitch in saying that they won’t say whether they will or not.

I’m still remembering the absolute butthurt that the right wing moral scolds had over Janet Jackson’s nipple being flashed for a few seconds on TV.

I mean, what even the fuck? I remember trying to talk to one of the headcases that was obsessed with having the FCC “do something” about it. He didn’t even have kids, but was worked up into a froth over “parents watching that with their children”.

Meanwhile, how many times did we see scenes from 9/11, endlessly looped, for example?

And I bet anything if that guy is still around, he’s just fine with this being livestreamed.

I mean I saw the leader of Iraq hung on YouTube. So at one time they allow this. Of course that was way before ads were introduced.
