Attorney says people have threatened to silence or harm ‘Jane Doe’ if she does not withdraw civil lawsuit

The woman who has alleged that she was drugged and raped by Cornell University students has been the target of threats, her lawyer said on Sunday.

Thomas Giuffra, who represents the woman identified as “Jane Doe”, told CNN that people have threatened to silence or harm her if she does not withdraw her civil lawsuit alleging that several members of a Cornell fraternity drugged and raped her in 2024.

“She’s received multiple threats,” Giuffra said on ‌CNN’s State of the Union.

Giuffra ‌said he had also been threatened.

apparently 35% of female students have been victims of some form of SA in the university. cornell rarely punished anyone there. Cornell like other universities will bury any form of assault to keep thier reremovedtion.

To keep their reremovedtion of supporting rapists? You would think they would want to have a reremovedtion of expelling them.

I mean, The only thing I know about them is that they are ivy league and its the school where you can get drugged and gang raped by half a dozen men for hours.

And they won’t even expell your rapists.

PR wise, they have to think about the alumni donating, and these future “men” that become rich alumni that will donate and increase thier reremovedtion.

Can’t get past the idea that some parents would not want their son to go to Cornell because the school wouldn’t protect him when he rapes. Like, maybe focus more on teaching your child not to rape. Or that a graduate’s alumni pride is centered on how much raping the school afforded them over the years. That they would donate more but there was that one semester where their raping numbers were down…
