    I think it’s fair if the food is prepared by someone whose cooking you know well. Like if my wife makes something, I will always have salt and some spices ready because I know it’s not going to be seasoned well. And I feel just putting some salt on in that case is better than always going through the process of tasting and only then going to the spice rack or something.
