TSA is removing chairs from ‌checkpoints, said the American Federation of Government Employees TSA Council 100, which represents workers and criticized the move as a “disregard for workers’ rights and safety" and added the chairs “serve as basic ergonomic and safety support for officers that stand and walk on hard surfaces all day.”

TSA confirmed the decision, saying: “This welcome change reinforces both our security posture and our commitment to hospitality by having these officers on their feet and alert. All officers must meet fitness for duty requirements to be capable of performing their vital national security function.”

I wish I could somehow convey to whoever is collecting data on me that this is a thing I like.

Like there’s all these entities trying to collect data on me to figure out how to sell me stuff and I want them to know the fact that Aldi lets cashiers sit down positively influences my decision to shop there. If other grocery stores adopted this I would prefer them over stores that do not.

Pretty sure the point is to harm national security. After a false flag attack, everyone will be ready to go to war with whatever country they say caused it which just happens to also have oil/gems/opiates/whatever.
