X Crop has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Nitter, the open-source project behind XCancel. The project has now suspended the service while it looks into its legal options.

    Twitter trying to stop abusive viewing posts without logging in.

    I hate that everything demands you login and prevents you from viewing anything unless you do.
