Recently, there was a video going around with a similar style animation made for the American Bicentennial in 1976. It was either made by some of the same people, or both teams were on the same drugs.
I went to high school in a museum. there was an exhibit that showcased generational stuff - Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennial… And that clip played on the Gen X TV with other sesame street/school house rock stuff on repeat. That song is burned into my brain.
