    The smog woke me up in the middle of the night last night. It wasn’t noticeable when I fell asleep, but gradually the AC brought the smog into my room. I was able to fall back asleep on the couch. Getting an air purifier this morning, because AC is not going to be optional in this midday heat.

      This smog is awful. I’m finally breaking down and getting an air purifier this evening. In the meantime I’ve been wearing an N95 inside 🫠

          Oh, generally I think these don’t bring the air (see below) but that doesn’t help with the fact that there is smog in your home.

          We’re dealing with wildfire smoke and I just recently put in a new filter in the furnace (our AC is in the furnace ducts and we run the fan all the time anyways) and I’ve got two air filter units in the house. They are undersized but they are for different purposes (h&s in pottery “studio” and allergens in guest room).

          I would appreciate it if you could share what you end up doing if you find it helps! I’ve been meaning to put together one of those box fan systems for cheap…
